User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (X11; Linux i686; rv:2.0b8pre) Gecko/20101024 Firefox/4.0b8pre Build Identifier: Mozilla/5.0 (X11; Linux i686; rv:2.0b8pre) Gecko/20101024 Firefox/4.0b8pre Some flash vids appear to not repaint at all after leaving fullscreen mode in Linux. The video will display the last frame rendered before entering fullscreen mode and never continue. The sound however continues to play and I know Flash is not crashing because clicking on the playback buttons still play/pause/seek the video (you can tell from the sound that's playing). I've experienced this problem with several sites now, such as TED and Vimeo. Youtube appears to work properly though. Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1. Go to a TED video or a Vimeo video. Play the video. 2. Fullscreen the video 3. Press Esc to leave fullscreen 4. Verify that the video does not appear to display the next frame or repaint user interface, but the sound continues to play. Actual Results: Video freezes after leaving fullscreen. Expected Results: Video continues to play after leaving fullscreen.
Mozilla/5.0 (X11; Linux i686; rv:2.0b8pre) Gecko/20101112 Firefox/4.0b8pre Able to reproduce. After playing the video in full screen mode and coming back to normal mode, the next frame is not displayed. The sound plays continues to play normally. If i switch to other tab and come back the video plays normally. Error console : Error: formatURLPref: Couldn't get pref: app.vendorURL Source File: jar:file:///home/test/Desktop/firefox/omni.jar!/components/nsURLFormatter.js Line: 145

Srinivas, could you try to find a regression range for this? Something tells me it could have happened between 11/10 and 11/11.
Build worked : Mozilla/5.0 (X11; Linux i686; rv:2.0b7pre) Gecko/20100921 Firefox/4.0b7pre http://hg.mozilla.org/mozilla-central/rev/8528ce3f97ce Build broken: Mozilla/5.0 (X11; Linux i686; rv:2.0b7pre) Gecko/20100922 Firefox/4.0b7pre http://hg.mozilla.org/mozilla-central/rev/198709160138 Pushlog : http://hg.mozilla.org/mozilla-central/pushloghtml?fromchange=8528ce3f97ce &tochange=198709160138

User Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (X11; Linux i686; rv:50.0) Gecko/20100101 Firefox/50.0 I have tested this issue on Ubuntu 14.04 x86 with the latest Firefox release (47.0) and the latest Nightly (50.0a1-20160629030209), using Flash Player(11.2.202.616) and haven't managed to reproduce it. After loading the provied URL into the browser, when going fullscreen and then pressing Esc to leave the fullscreen the sound and video continues to play normally. Considering also that I can't reproduce the issue on Vimeo as the website doesn't uses flash videos anymore, I will close this as Resolved - Incomplete. If anyone can still reproduce it on latest versions, feel free to reopen the issue and provide more information.
