When switching from a x86-32bit to an x86-64bit version of Firefox 3.5 to Firefox 3.6 a.k.a. Namoroka. The Firefox Sync application in the 32bit works fine. However, when logging on the 64bit Sync says Error while Syncing. Then it has me re-sync. Same Error Message. Then it (meaning sync) has me check out the Sever status.. According to the website ( https://services.mozilla.com/status/ ) Current Status: All servers up *I pulled that directly from the website.*
Reproducible: Always
Steps to Reproduce:
1.Launched Namoroka, Down at the Bottom Right Corner, Pressed Connect (on the left side of the word is a Circle with a arrow going clockwise
2.Response is Error while Syncing
3.Re-Sync is the next option, Re-Synced
4.Response is Sync Encountered an error while syncing: Sync will automatically retry this action.
Actual Results:
Nothing.
Expected Results:
Just want to sync with my x64 computer.

Mozilla doesn't ship a 64-bit Firefox on windows, so not sure where you got the build. This is likely to be WONTFIXed, but moving it to the right component...
Component: Bookmarks & History → Firefox Sync: Backend
Product: Firefox → Mozilla Services
QA Contact: bookmarks → sync-backend
I never stated that it was shipped.. I have the website here: http://wiki.mozilla-x86-64.com/Firefox:Download where I Downloaded it from.

...and that page says "This is UNOFFICIAL BINARY, so you DON'T report a bug to https://bugzila.mozilla.org/."
Firefox Sync doesn't ship with 64bit binaries for Windows. If you must use a 64bit binary, try using Firefox 4 where Sync is built in.
