This is with linux 32-bit absolute tip m-c and m-b. To reproduce, I start fennec, then I click on the page and press ctr+l. Instead of opening the awesomescreen, fennec hangs and consumes 100% of my CPU. Backtraces in both processes just show them sitting in the event loop.

I can reproduce a similar hang on the n900 I have.
No hang for me on latest build on N900
I found on the n900 that if I entered the awesomescreen and then exited it via the arrow in the top right, the start screen became exceedingly sluggish.
Probably bug 608445. I'll try reproducing this once it lands.
