Build Identifier: most recent update
auto update reported new version
did NOT ask to install it forced install
asked to restart mozilla i chose restart later
it forced restart mozilla
then mid install it jumps
upon restart mozilla
blue screen of death
minidump corrupted illegible nonesense
restart mozilla d.o.s. box
1st time flicks onto screen nothing there then disappears 2 times same thing
3rd time blue screen of death minidump sent
and now vaio laptop t5500 1.66GHz 2gig ram i was using
refuses to load xp-64bit install
bios password accepts then screen goes black 3 seconds later
then bios password appears again
upto date virus checkers avast and avg would have stopped viruses in download
spybot would have stopped malware etc
i really hope the system does not need to be reinstalled as this laptop has extremely expensive, sensitive, irreplacable, legal documentation on it
i am contactable for more info if needed
Reproducible: Couldn't Reproduce
Steps to Reproduce:
1.restart machine
2.enter bios password
3.wait til re-enter password appears
Actual Results:
see above
Expected Results:
blue screen of death
installed correctly
normally you get a choice to download now or later
i would have chose later at that point
it normally asks to restart if you choose later it does so
but this seemed to force itself into my system
restart later. forced a restart of software?
