Using the M5 build of Mozilla on i386 Red Hat Linux 6.0, it seems that under both apprunner and viewer, the title graphics on the mozilla.org pages do not show up. The images appear to load, but they then disappear just as fast as they appear. This bug did not seem to be present in M4.
I just tested this with debug builds from 05-06 and I see moz.org graphics on linux, nt, &mac. -pnunn

Sure enough, I'm not seeing the mozilla.org header graphics either, on a build from 5/7 11am.
maybe this is network related? I just walked over to Akkana's cube and the graphic displayed. If it was a layout problem, wouldn't the symptoms be....stable? If its a network problem, the problem could change depending on time outs. just a thought. -pn
If it is network related, then perhaps the problem is that the network code is not tolerant enough in its timing requirements?? Seems the graphics show everytime in Netscape 4.51. In the M5 Mozilla build, it NEVER works for me. But then of course, being on a 33.6k PPP connection by modem, perhaps this is just asking for a problem with the network code? Maybe a faster connection would work wonders??

The previous incarnation of this bug was pretty clearly a timing-related network problem, and since the problem is intermittent for people here, I suspect that's still the case. With any luck, the landing of the new netlib code will magically fix this.
