User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Macintosh; U; Intel Mac OS X 10.6; en-US; rv:1.9.2.12) Gecko/20101026 Firefox/3.6.12 GTB7.1
Build Identifier: Mozilla/5.0 (Macintosh; U; Intel Mac OS X 10.6; en-US; rv:1.9.2.12) Gecko/20101026 Firefox/3.6.12 GTB7.1

Through troubleshooting, especially enabling plug ins one by one, I have found that enabling Firefox Sync causes the "beach ball" and Firefox has to be force quit. All cache/cookies/etc. were cleared, Firefox reinstalled and same results.

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1.Enable Firefox Sync and relaunch
2.Force Quit Firefox when it stops responding
3.Launch Firefox, disable Firefox Sync and relaunch Firefox
Actual Results:
Firefox works fine

Steve: What happens if you start Firefox without the Google Toolbar or start in safe mode - do you get the same results?

If I disable Google Toolbar and Enable Firefox Sync and restart, same results. After about a minute, Firefox stops responding and has to be force quit.

I think this is just:

https://bugzilla.mozilla.org/show_bug.cgi?id=574433
https://bugzilla.mozilla.org/show_bug.cgi?id=574085

(happens on opensuse11.3 also, on two machines for me).
Does this happen with a fresh profile?
