After using Thunderbird for a while with no problems, suddenly every time I create a new email message, a tiny, pinky-fingernail-sized window is created along with the new message window. This new window is just the outside lining of a window, and I have to drag the bottom corner of it to expand the window to reveal the buttons on top. I then close this window and type my email in the new message window waiting behind it. This tiny pop up window is always completely empty, blank white. restarting Thunderbird ends this behavior until it suddenly decides it wants to start again. Additionally, while this behavior occurs, thunderbird seemingly won't autocomplete an email address as it is typed, but this could also be it taking way too long to do so.

Reproducible: Sometimes

does it happens if you start Thunderbird in -safe-mode ?

What version of Thunderbird are you using ?

anything in Tools -> Error console when this happens ?

Have not tried. Ubuntu Safe mode? Will try and report back. error has not occurred in about 1 week
now and I can';t replicate anymore.

 anything in Tools -> Error console when this happens ?
Nothing that I can find that's unusual or seems to refer to this.
