I use an extension (see URL above, for a description. I have tried to use an IMAP folder Contacts using it, but it doesn't work & doesn't provide enough parameters for me to get to the contacts folder OR it gets to the folder, & the security settings are wrong (I've checked everything I can & find nothing wrong). What happens with the current setup is on the 2 "slaves", an address entered is destroyed by the master copy from the other machine. I would like to add (or subtract) an address (or list) on any 1 of the 3 machines! Thanks for at least considering this change! Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1.Set a new address or address list on 1 of the "slave" machines. 2. 3. Actual Results: Address or list destroyed eventually (time is determined by extension options setting. Expected Results: Enter or delete new address or list on any one of the 3; results reflected on other 2.
Sorry, but we do not handle add-on issues here, you should report the issue directly to the add-on author. Therefore marking this as invalid. If you're asking for synchronisation between Thunderbird instances then there are other bugs that cover that already.
"If you're asking for synchronization between Thunderbird instances then there are other bugs that cover that already." No, I was not attacking the "add-on issues"; I understand that that is to be handled by their respective authors. If there are "other bugs that cover that already," I would wish to be put on the notify list for them? I tried a search for the 2 categories, but didn't see any summaries that even roughly corresponded with my inquiry.
