This bug is for tracking the build of Funnelcake 3. I'm currently working out some patches to see if we can automate it, either for this release or in future, I'm not sure which yet. So we're not quite ready to build yet.
I've now set up a repo which we can use to store our changes to the partner-repacks, until we have time to find a merge option with MoCo: http://hg.mozilla.org/users/bugzilla_standard8.plus.com/tb-partner-repacks/ This currently has funnel cake 2 stuff in it. Will be testing out 3 stuff tomorrow.
I've now pushed a change to our funnel cake repo to update the configuration for this funnel cake: http://hg.mozilla.org/users/bugzilla_standard8.plus.com/tb-partner-repacks/rev/1c9185e19bea
Created attachment 488163 [details] [diff] [review] Enable partner repacks Now we have the partner repacks code in a repository, I believe generating these builds becomes very easy. We tweak the config as per this patch (set doPartnerRepacks to true), and that'll give us an extra 'partner_repack' builder. From what I can tell without actually trying it, 'partner_repack' can either be kicked off as part of the release build process, or it can be kicked off manually. Once the builder is run, we should get the files in an 'unsigned/partner_repack' directory. They just then need testing followed by signing. I'd probably recommend that for most release builds we do we don't do the partner repacks unless we know we want to do a funnel cake for that build.
I've gone as far as I can now with setting this up for automation. Passing to John to land the patch and run the builder. Please let Ludovic know once these are completed (or me if there's problems with the repacks ;-) ).
John, can you get the signed builds uploaded today please? We're expecting to release them tomorrow.
