I am noticing a performance degrade between today's Minefield build and yesterday's (11/4). When I was filling out job forms on Indeed.com, I only had about ten tabs open and Firefox was becoming unresponsive as I was trying to copy and paste my resume in text boxes on the sites. Also, when I searched for bugs in Bugzilla today, I noticed the animated dinosaur was not smooth and was stuttering (yesterday it was smooth with the 11/4 build). I have 4 GB of RAM on my computer and Minefield is only using about 220 MB right now. Also, Minefield froze when opening a PDF document (http://www.thinknts.com/uploadedFiles/Site_2.0/Careers/NJ2333.pdf). Finally, I am just changing from one tab to another and Minefield will stop responding for up to ten seconds.
Reproducible: Sometimes
Steps to Reproduce:
Difficult to reproduce - noticeable performance degrade. Minefield would stop responding as I was entering information in job forms.
Actual Results:
Noticeable performance degrade from yesterday's Minefield build (11/4).
Expected Results:
Minefield should not stop responding and hesitate as I am copying and pasting text.

Concerning the Forms, there were some Checkins In Editor Component.
Can you narrow the Issue down further using Hourly Builds?
http://hourly-archive.localgho.st/hourly-archive2/mozilla-central-win32/
Severity: critical → normal
Keywords: regression,
regressionwindow-wanted
Product: Firefox → Core
QA Contact: general → general
Version: unspecified → Trunk
I just downloaded all nine of the hourly builds one-by-one for 11/5/10, ran Firefox and did not notice any performance drops. I also downloaded and installed the latest Minefield again (11/5/10 05:38) and did not notice any issues. Maybe it wasn't Firefox / Minefield that had the problem - maybe it was Windows.
