We're calling in a one-off snippet change outside of our normal monthly release cycle in order to add a very important Red Panda campaign. We're aiming for this new snippet to go live as close to 11/17 as possible. RED PANDA SNIPPET Snippet Position: EN-US - TBD - Currently checking with Jane to see which current snippet this will replace. I will update bug once I know. Copy: A live feed of firefox cubs. Can you handle the cute? Find out at [|FirefoxLive.org[/]. Image: see attached called icons_redpandahead Tracking URL: http://www.firefoxlive.org/?WT.mc_id=S_11_10_1&WT.mc_ev=click

firefoxlive.org isn't owned by Mozilla and doesn't point to Mozilla's nameservers. Are you sure this is the right domain?

Was purchased by the agency working on this project with us and will be transferred over to us before the campaign launches. Thanks for checking!

I don't think you'll be able to actually transfer the domain to Mozilla in time if the campaign starts on 11/17. New domains normally have a mandatory 60-day transfer probation period where transfers are prohibited, and since the domain was registered on 2010-10-04, the earliest it can likely be transferred is 2010-12-03. Until that time, you can get the nameservers changed over to Mozilla, but you'll still want to eventually transfer the domain itself once the waiting period is over. I'm not sure what interaction you've had with IT on this project, but generally (from my experience both as a sysadmin and from watching bugs), it's greatly preferred that you ask IT to purchase domains rather than having an external vendor do it. It reduces a lot of headaches down the road, especially if SSL certificates or quick changes on the registrar-side are ever needed. > Thanks for checking! No problem... Just happened to notice it and figured I'd mention it.
