User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.1; de; rv:1.9.2.12) Gecko/20101026 Firefox/3.6.12 Build Identifier: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.1; en-US; rv:1.9.2.12) Gecko/20101027 Thunderbird/3.1.6 Message vanishes from message list while downloading the rest of the message after having previously downloaded only the header Error from ErrorConsole: Error: uncaught exception: [Exception... "Component returned failure code: 0x80004005 (NS_ERROR_FAILURE) [nsIMessenger.msgHdrFromURI]" nsresult: "0x80004005 (NS_ERROR_FAILURE)" location: "JS frame :: chrome://messenger/content/mailWindow.js :: anonymous :: line 440" data: no] Thanx Eva Luation ;-) Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: My configuration is: - download only header of the message I can reproduce the error when I do the following: - download the rest of the message by manually clicking at the download-link inside the message display window - do this for more than 5 messages - after the 5th message my mailprovider usually prevents further login-attempts - this situation leads to the error in the error console Actual Results: - the message to download is then removed from the window without download - on the provider side the message is still there - Thunderbird is not able to access this vanished message anymore Expected Results: the message should not be removed from the list and stay in the previous state Then I can download the message some minutes later whan the provider lets me login again. provider is: gmx.de restriction seems to be: not more than 5 logins in x seconds => wait some minute before continue When I click "Get Mail"-button too frequent I get a error message like this: "Sending of password did not succeed. Mail server pop.gmx.net responded: minimum poll time not reached" I think that this is the reason behind the vanished mails by pressing download manually in a too frequent way...
