User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (X11; U; Linux i686; ru; rv:1.9b5) Gecko/2008032600 SUSE/2.9.95-25.1 Firefox/3.0b5 (.NET CLR 3.5.30729) Build Identifier: Mozilla/5.0 (X11; U; Linux i686; en-US; rv:1.9.1.15) Gecko/20101031 Mandriva/3.0.10-0.1mdv2010.1 (2010.1) Thunderbird/3.0.10 there are several folders into inbox and i add message filters to move emails to different folders for different senders. I need to know when a message coming into one of these folders and i want to see that folder highlighted by bold font with number of unread messagees, but is doesn't work if email coming while thunderbird is running. The problem takes place for imap protocol and only with ms exchange server. Postfix server instead of exchange works fine. Reproducible: Sometimes Steps to Reproduce: 1.install ms exchange server 2007, allow imap connection, make test mailbox 2.connect thunderbird to that mailbox, create a new folder into inbox, create filter to move incoming messages to that folder 3.move cursor to inbox and wait until a new message come in and moved in condition of that filter Actual Results: I could not see that a new message came into that folder until i select that folder. Expected Results: When a new message incoming, it's folder should be selected as bold and counter of unread messages in the right of the folder name should be increased. I used default thunderbird configuration, imap protocol connection, ms exchange server 2007. Where was no problem when dovecot used instead of exchange server. The problem takes place on all releases 2.x 3.x i tried, on OS linux and ms windows. A problem takes place in 70-80% cases. Sometimes incoming messages highlights a folder correctly.
