Note: The prompt pops up in < 1 second with the desktop osx build.
Steps to Reproduce:
1. Go to addons.mozilla.org/mobile
2. Click on the "Add to Mobile" for any of the listed recommended add-ons on the page
3. Wait
Actual Results:
Nothing is shown to the user for 5-6 seconds
Expected Results:
It shouldn't take 5-6 seconds to pop up the extension installation chooser prompt.

I see the same pause on Linux desktop Fennec. The XPI must be downloaded before the prompt is displayed. Downloading the XPI takes time. Maybe it's a little slower because of IPC.

Is the patch in bug 610689 going to "fix" this by giving feedback?
