61105 - Percent Complete missing [and Status field empty] in download progress dialog

When downloading a file, currently all you see is a progress bar, file name, and
some times.  I really miss seeing a percent of download complete.  Thanks!

I understand.  Sorry.. was filling it out in a hurry. :)  Usually I'm more
descriptive.

I'm talking about the status screen showing the download status of a file.
Currently, you have a progress bar, file name, time remaining, etc.  I really
miss a numerical percent (ex 50% complete) showing.  Sometimes I get downloads
that pause for short periods as they download.  I've been able to use the
percent and actual time working to make a more accurate judgement on how much
time is left in these cases.  Thanks!

No percent is shown in 20001108 (Netscape 6 build).  I'm a little behind on
dlded Mozilla builds.  The pausing ins't a mozilla problem, that's just my poor
phone lines.  I would just really love to see the download actually spell out
that it is 53% complete, rather than myself guessing that from the bar.  Thanks!

The status: field seems to have taken an early vacation (left in late November).
It does appear when you save a file (e.g., choose "Save As..." from the File
menu or contextual menu) but not when downloading.

I re-fixed the Status text in the helper app progress dialog. Something deep in
necko must have changed in late novemeber that broke this. I worked around that
problem.

Where it says "Status:" you should now start seeing text describing the # of
bytes downloaded and the current transfer rate.

I also added percent text information next to the progress bar. So you will see
the progress bar and just to the right of it: "45%".

To test:
go to www.mozilla.org
Click on a nightly build. Click save to disk or open when prompted with the
helper app dialog. Look at the progress dialog that comes up next.

Looks great!  I really appreciate this!  Only thing I noticed (very minor) is
that when % hits double and then tripple digits the file downloaded status bar
(to the direct left) shortens just a bit.  The bar still hits the end at 100%.
Just very minor, doesn't even necessarally have to be fixed.  Thanks again!

both the percent and the status field data are appearing in the download
progress dialog. yay! vrfy'd on winnt and linux [2000.12.08.08 comm] and mac
[2000.12.07.08 comm].

i've found only a couple of [seperate] issue, however:

1. the progress bar now has these little feet at the borders. filed this as bug
62372.

2. various completion/near completion issues with the progress bar: sometimes it
doesn't read 100% when the bar has completely filled, sometimes the bar isn't
completely filled when the progress dialog goes away. not sure if that would be
bug 32603. shall i file another bug or stick with that older one?
