Once we have bug 566906 landed, we should add an API for retranslation of an element.

The use case scenario is when some entity depends on the variable that will change (like an hour of the day, or number of files that are being downloaded) and we want to update the entity, it should just do: node.mozRetranslate();

Seven years later, we're making another attempt to refactor our l10n layer.

The new tracking bug is bug 1365426 and I'll mark the previous effort as "INCOMPLETE".
