Build: 2000112320 on Win98 After closing mozilla, it does not really close. Pressing ctrl-alt-del shows the win98 taskmanager and mozilla is still there, on terminating mozilla with the tast manager the first time nothing happens, the second time win says mozilla is not responding and you can kill it by clicking on close. Quite a long way of closing an application... Vincent.
wfm most of the time on win98, nt4 and 2000 It is true that the Mozilla process sometimes (but rarely) stays after closing the windows. I didn't found a way to reproduce this at the time of writing. As for terminating the process with ctrl-alt-delete that takes two times to effectively kill it, it's not Mozilla's fault, it's win98's fault (it happens with every non-responding apps)
unable to reproduce with 112704 mozilla win32 talkback builds (or any recent trunk builds).
Checked with 112720 win build, problem seems to have been solved indeed. someone should change bug as 'resolved'? Vincent (original reporter).
