STR : 1) got to http://www.mozilla.org/editor/midasdemo/ 2) type in Hello and notice that the font looks ok 3) find a crash report in /Applications/Utilities/console.app 4) copy the content of that crash 5) paste it below the hello see that the fonts get all mangled and don't look anti aliased. I unfortunately can't take a screen shot has as soon as I press cmd or switch Firefox in the background a repaint is generated that fixes the issue. Running 4.0b7 on MacOS 10.5 intel - me wonders where the old easy copy paste string is hidding now.
