The title says it all. I've seen this on some pages recently, here's an example: <http://fora.tv/2007/05/07/Al_Sharpton_and_Christopher_Hitchens>

Mozilla/5.0 (Macintosh; Intel Mac OS X 10.6; rv:2.0b8pre) Gecko/20101111 Firefox/4.0b8pre, Flash 10.1.102.64 I haven't been able to reproduce this. I've tried using the fullscreen button within the video, as well as fullscreening the application, and running Fx in 32bit, but the video looks fine. Ehsan any other details?

I used the full screen button on the video itself. What kind of information can I provide to help here?
OS version (10.6.4 vs just-released 10.6.5), Flash version, possibly the graphics card information in about:support, and any other videos where this may have happened.

I can't reproduce this, haven't heard of it happening to anyone else. Since we have only one person that can repro I don't think we should block on it. Ehsan - strange that you have "GPU Accelerated Windows 3/3 OpenGL" - typically we have "1/1 OpenGL" on Mac OS X. Have you customized some graphics prefs?

Does it help if you disable hardware acceleration in the flash options ? you can reach the settings with right clicking in a flash "applet", at least on win32

I upgraded to OS X 10.6.5, and the problem still happens.
Dupe of bug 614623. I was getting this because I was using the latest Flash plugin which is not apparently compatible with Firefox.

i'm reopening this issue, because i'm able to reproduce it with the latest Serrano internal player. the duplicate bug 614623 pointed out general redraw issues which is resolved. but the blackened stage going into and out of fullscreen persists. tracking it internally in bug#2804045

I'm nominating this for blocking to get it on the radar, and because it sounds like this is still happening and it is a separate issue from bug 614623, per comment #12

So... if this cannot be reproduced with Flash 10.1, and can with Flash 10.2, it seems that this would be primarily a Flash bug. smadayag, do you have a reason to believe that Firefox is somehow causing the drawing issue?

This works for me with Flash 10.2.152.21.
