Open a new mail or web site with text input field 2. Type german text 3. Every de_* word is underlined Actual Results: I have to disable the spellchecking every time in order to type German text, otherwise input is hard to read Expected Results: Do German spell checking (no de_* spell checking available after de_* languages installed) even after plain de installation

KaiRo, all he needs to do is to install a newer version of the de dictionary updated for Gecko 2 from AMO right?

Actually, bug 533038 just laid out the problem - existing installs work, but new installs don't as they get don't get unpackaged any more and that breaks the spellchecker. I'll need to do new versions with the unpack entry in install.rdf - this affects all products though, so let's move this into the localizations / de component.

I have uploaded 2.0.2 versions of the German dictionaries with a fix for this, they just need to be reviewed on AMO now to go public.

I haven't seen any message of the 2.0.2 versions being reviewed, so this is still open. And if it gets closed, it will go to FIXED, I had to spend actual work on it. WFM would mean that there was no real problem to start with and the original state would have been OK:

All three dictionaries have approved 2.0.2 versions up on AMO now, so this is fixed. Thanks for reporting this!
