Mozilla/5.0 (Android; Linux armv71; rv2.0b8pre) Gecko/20101112 Firefox/4.0b8pre Fennec/4.0b3pre 1. go to about:config 2. close the hardware keyboard 3. place device in landscape mode 4. click in the field 5. type : "update" Expected: the text display should update to show "update" Actual: the text display does not update, the field itself will update when the keyboard is dismissed. Note: occurred in yesterday and today's build.

the keyboard is full screen, right? How are you seeing the text not update in content? or is it the OS text box that's not updating?
I can reproduce this; it is the OS textbox that somehow is failing to update.
This field actually doesn't seem to update -at all-, regardless of config or portrait.
This is working for me in a recent build.
