Does the issue still occur if you start Firefox in Safe Mode? http://support.mozilla.com/en-US/kb/Safe+Mode How about with a new, empty profile? http://support.mozilla.com/en-US/kb/Basic+Troubleshooting#Make_a_new_profile Does the issue occur with the latest nightly? http://nightly.mozilla.org/

The issue still occurs if I start Firefox in Safe mode. The same with a new, empty profile. Finally, the issue occurs with the latest nightly too.

How about Firefox 4.0.1? Is the problem still there?
check the url I have posted.. With Chromium everything works fine, so there isn't any problem with the website.

Mozilla/5.0 (X11; Linux x86_64; rv:2.0.1) Gecko/20100101 Firefox/4.0.1 Mozilla/5.0 (X11; Linux x86_64; rv:6.0a1) Gecko/20110518 Firefox/6.0a1 I've played around a bit with http://www.newsbeast.gr/greece/arthro/141783/edine-to-password-enadi-amoivis/ and experienced the problem with the home / end key. When I disabled JavaScript the problem disappeared.

http://www.newsbeast.gr/greece/arthro/141783/edine-to-password-enadi-amoivis/ More observations. If I left click outside the text the, and the right click all text gets selected. That doesn't happen with JavaScript disabled. The middle mouse button is disabled with JavaScript enabled.
