I put a file.ogv in a "video" tag on a server. When playing by Firefox on the client, there are several piece of information on the slider : the current position, the total duration and the current loading position (as a progress bar in the background).

When I start playing a video, the loading progress bar is growing, and it starts playing. But if the server is too slow, it plays only during (about) 0.5s, and stays in "loading state", with a spinner on the video… until the whole video has been downloaded (if the video is 500M, it can wait 10 minutes for resuming playing).

The correct behaviour would be to resume playing when a new part of the video (for example 5 or 10 seconds) has been loaded.

Reproducible: Sometimes

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Put a video with a high bitrate on a server with a slow connectiion
2. Play it remotely using firefox
3.
Actual Results:
It resumes only when the whole video has been downloaded.

Expected Results:
The correct behaviour would be to resume playing when a new part of the video (for example 5 or 10 seconds) has been loaded.

Please try Firefox4.0Beta7 , it think that bug 543769 fixed that
No reply on two months, I'll take that as a WFM!
