612155 - Firefox 4.0b6 wont open webpages after updating from 4.0b5

The new version of FF 4.06 was downloaded automatically. It prompted me to restart and I did. It installed the update and at the end of install I got a security warning saying the action is not allowed (or something of that sort!) and once the browser came up, it could not open up any page.

To the worst, I need to open up IE to report this error.

Reproducible: Didn't try

Steps to Reproduce:
1. On Windows vista home premium 32 bit, update FF to 4.06 beta.
2. Install the software update.
3. Install completes till the end but you will get a security warning.
4. Browser opens but you wont see the 'Firefox updated!' page or any other page.
Actual Results:  
Could not open any webpage.

Expected Results:  
Open up webpage.

I have IE, Chrome and Opera extra. On Windows 32 bit, Vista home premium.

What is the exact error message ?
Do you mean bug 588511 ?

Over to general for triage since the installer wasn't involved and application update successfully installed the update though the browser was busted after the update.

Chances are this is a duplicate of bug 588511

@Matthias, @Robert.. You are correct, checked out the bug and screen shot. The error is same If I remember it right.

I still can't get the browser up and running. Any idea? Thanks guys!
