Ctrl+shift+left-arrow does not highlight whole word in gmail
User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (X11; Linux x86_64; rv:2.0b7) Gecko/20100101 Firefox/4.0b7 Build Identifier: Mozilla/5.0 (X11; Linux x86_64; rv:2.0b7) Gecko/20100101 Firefox/4.0b7 Using gmail, when I reply to a message, ctrl+shift+left and ctrl+shift+right do not highlight the whole word as one would expect. I've also experienced this behavior in other web-based WYSIWYG text editors. Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1. Open Gmail 2. Compose a mail 3. Enter a some words. Press CTRL+SHIFT+LEFT. 4. Nothing happens Actual Results: No highlighting took place. Expected Results: Word should be highlighted.
Do you have Firebug installed? I've just noticed 1.6x prevents some default browser handlers and Firbug handler can't be preventable. CTRL+SHIFT+Arrows, CTLR + space as an example.. I'll file a Firebug bug for this anyway... Note that this happens even if Firbug is not active (grey statusbar icon), Firebug has to be disabled as a plugin to fix this problem...
I've just found a firebug issue related to this: http://code.google.com/p/fbug/issues/detail?id=3721&q=CTRL%2BSHIFT&colspec=ID%20Type%20Status%20Owner%20Test%20Summary

This works fine for me now, even with Firebug installed.
