Using gmail, when I reply to a message, ctrl+shift+left and ctrl+shift+right do not highlight the whole word as one would expect. I've also experienced this behavior in other web-based WYSIWYG text editors.

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Open Gmail
2. Compose a mail
3. Enter a some words. Press CTRL+SHIFT+LEFT.
4. Nothing happens
Actual Results:
No highlighting took place.

Expected Results:
Word should be highlighted.
Do you have Firebug installed? I've just noticed 1.6x prevents some default browser handlers and Firbug handler can't be preventable. CTRL+SHIFT+Arrows, CTLR + space as an example.. I'll file a Firebug bug for this anyway...

Note that this happens even if Firbug is not active (grey statusbar icon), Firebug has to be disabled as a plugin to fix this problem...

This works fine for me now, even with Firebug installed.
