It should be noted when using Direct3D 10 firefox should not hang but recover when your graphics driver recovers, indeed it would be interesting to see your about:support!

When graphics driver recovers, the firefox window is just covered with white rectangle. Only the title bar is visible and aero theme is disabled(only in firefox). If I close the window and restart firefox, tabs are not recovered.

If I close the window and restart firefox, tabs are not recovered. That's both unfortunate and unexpected. Primarily this is still a driver bug though which should probably be reported to ATI.
