Closing Image Map Editor from file menu doesn't work

steps...

1. launch composer (Tasks->Composer)
2. Insert image  (Insert --> Image)
3. "Image Properties" dialog box will pop open
4. click "Choose file" button and select a (image) file
5. Under Image Map, click the "Edit" button
6. Image Map Editor will pop open
7. from the menu, Close the editor (File --> Close)

closing the editor from the menu will not do anything...
