Details

When pressing the mouse-button on an address in the reader you are presented
with a menu where you can either add the address to the AB or send a mail to
that address. Nav 4 allowed you to drag the address to a compose window or to
the AB. This would really simplify managing recipients in a reply.

I was going to file the equivalent to this bug as a spinoff from Bug 105676 
(see newsgroup n.p.m.mail-news for details)

And why am I posting this to this bug? Just to let ya know.
A sollution that springs to mind about getting this to work without resolving
bug 57578, is to have the context menu appear on mouseup rather than mousedown
event...

I'm sure someone else have thought about it, but I wanted to share my thoughts
I think that cure would be worse than the disease. The dependency stands.
