first app-tab looks selected even though no apptab actually is selected

See attachment.  The first app-tab has a much brighter look than the others, even though the real current tab is the nytimes tab.

not quite sure what i did to have it end up in this state.  I just created all four app-tabs in this session.
Isn't this just because of the "new Content" Notification fo App Tabs?
So this might be bound to the Twitter App Tab, no matter of its Position, and not the first one generally, no?

that means the tab title has changed and is waiting for focus (like how the uac prompts turn orange in the windows 7 start menu.)
