Details
From Bugzilla Helper: User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (X11; U; Linux 2.2.17-8 i686; en-US; m18) Gecko/20001127 BuildID: 2000112718 Attempting to do a query with an excessive number of results (say, querying for 'bugzilla' in the summary field of all bugs) causes a connection timeout when using mozilla through a Squid proxy. This works fine if I turn off proxy support, or use NS 4.76. Switching networking debug preferences to HTTP/1.0 & turning off keepalive didn't help. Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1) Go to http://bugzilla.mozilla.org/query.cgi 2) Select all status types 3) Enter 'bugzilla' under summary 4) Hit submit query 5) wait.... Actual Results: You get a dialog box: 'The operation timed out when attempting to contact bugzilla.mozilla.org.' Expected Results: Successful loading of the query... This is running under Red Hat Linux 7 - this shouldn't make too much of a difference. squid-2.3.STABLE4, FWIW, running on the local machine.

Running it on a 1228 build, it *appears* to work on first inspection. I'll play around some more and mark this fixed if I can't cause it to come back.
