(Whiteboard: [redesign])

Per our discussion earlier, please do a very quick reskin of the following Sync pages: ./firefox/sync/firstrun.html ./firefox/sync/secondrun.html ./firefox/sync/updated.html Thanks!
Actually, hold off on this one for now...there's a chance we may not need to update these, but I don't know for sure yet.
Per Alex Faaborg, these pages are no longer needed as part of the product experience. So, am closing this bug out.

John, can we remove the pages?
(In reply to comment #3) > John, can we remove the pages? Copying Alex. Alex, can we delete these Sync pages altogether or should we keep them around (but in the old design and not linked from anywhere) in case we need a head start on reviving them in the future?
cc'ing some of the sync people. Do we need to keep these up for users on older versions of the extension?
Keep them around for now, we'll be dropping support by the end of Q1 2011
Thanks Alex & Mike. To sum up: - don't update the Sync pages with the new design - but, don't delete them either (for now)
This page is really broken, http://nova.stage.mozilla.com/en-US/firefox/sync/ I understand we don't need it, but if it's going to be on the website it needs to at least look reasonable and not broken.

Let me know which of these options is easier at this point: - don't change anything about this page...keep the link active and keep the content looking like it does now (non-nova, that is) - do a light reskin of the page in the new nova style so it doesn't look broken

Agreed, but how does this work with bug 616237? If we're going to redirect this URL anyway, can't we just delete this page?
Bug 616237 is for https://www.mozilla.com/en-US/firefox/sync/, which is a marketing page. This bug is for the three in-product pages listed in comment #0. Steven, it sounds like we should do a light reskin on these, then. Definitely lower priority than the other active bugs, though, if you're running short on time.

The three product pages originally referenced in this bug have been (very simply) cleaned up for the new style in the nova branch in r78670.
