User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows NT 6.1; WOW64; rv:2.0b8pre) Gecko/20101117 Firefox/4.0b8pre

When App Tabs are open, their Aero Peek thumbnails display only as the "loading" animation (spinning blue circle) rather than displaying the page contents as they should.

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Pin any tab as an App Tab.
2. Hover mouse over Minefield/Firefox icon.
3. Observe that App Tab thumbnails do not display.
Actual Results:
"Loading" icon is displayed where the thumbnail preview should be.

Expected Results:
Thumbnail should render as it does for other tabs.
Also, just now realized that clicking on their blank thumbnails does not switch to the App Tab, either.

And it's "usually" for me, not "always," evidently. It's now appearing normally, so it's intermittent.
Do you have a lot of tabs open at the time? I basic test of this - one app tab and five regular tabs after a fresh open of the browser, does not reproduce this problem. Tabs are rendered correctly in tab preview. Clicking on the app tab also bring up the 'app'.

The aeropeek / taskbar code doesn't live in shell integration so moving to general though most of the related code lives in widget win32

Component: Shell Integration → General
Severity: normal → S3
