I'm still seeing "MDC" in:
* Page titles ("<page title> - MDC Doc Center")
* Breadcrumbs ("MDC >> Doc Center >> <page title>")
These instances of "MDC" should be replaced with "MDN". Where "MDC" is still used, it now stands for "MDN Doc Center", so "MDC Doc Center" is incorrect.

This has been done, but some of our hosts are obnoxiously refusing to recognize the change. Not sure how to resolve this.

While we're working with MindTouch, this is a bug that I hope we can resolve with the MindTouch v10 upgrade.
Jake/Luke: Can you bring this up during your next interaction with MT to see if we're missing a server config to help clean out the old "MDC" strings?
Target Milestone: --- → 0.9.7

Wrong email address for me... please use nmaul@mozilla.com. If you search for 'Jake Maul' or :jakem, it should bring up the right one.

Hey everyone.
A few people on UserVoice have been asking about this. Did the recent upgrade to MindTouch 10 help in any way?
Thanks!

It's a setting in the MindTouch control panel (System Settings > Configuration > Site Name), which in turn just stores a value in the database. It's not hard-coded anywhere in the skin. Assuming the data gets synchronized across DB hosts, I can't understand why one server would show MDC and another would show MDN.
Though to be honest I've only ever seen it as "MDC" in production so I'm not sure the site name was ever changed on the back end, or if it was, perhaps it got changed back at some point (maybe when restoring from a backup, or some kind of migration snafu).

I changed the "Site Name" to "MDN" in the MindTouch "Basic Config" control panel last week, but not sure it took. The value for "ui/sitename" is still MDC in the "Advanced Config" tab, and with the warning that scared me, I didn't want to make any changes there.
Sheppy: Is it safe to make changes to the Advanced Config without breaking the entire site? I know we made a change to the locales list before, but not sure what else needed to happen on the server side to keep things happy.

Still seeing a few instances of MDC. However, when I return to a page, it may change. So it may still be a function of which server I hit.
