Drag a link from on app. into a FF4 window is not possible - the cursor is a "No entry" sign. You can drag into the Bookmarks Toolbar howeve I would expect a drag to work into: the main window, a tab, the address bar.

This bug was reported using a pre-release version of Firefox 4. Now that Firefox 4.0.1 final has been released, can you please update and retest your bug? A fresh profile would be a good starting place to test,

I dragged links from Kmail and also dragged text into textboxes.
