Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1. Start the program. Actual Results: The System Integration popup appears on screen and the only way to remove it is with the cancel button. Expected Results: The system integration popup should not be appearing at all as the details should be saved.
Same thing happens if you open the System Integration box from the 'Check Now' button on the config box->Advanced->General Tab. Turn off the EMail then the OK will work. Turn on the Newsgroups and OK will not work. Feeds is grayed out but selected on my system. Untick the EMail, the OK works, but the setting is NOT saved, so if you open System INtegration the EMail is checked again.

I'm just an end user of Thunderbird. I've been having this unwanted system integration box for months now, with everything above Thunderbird 3.x.x I'm using TB 3.1.9 now and the error has never disappeared with any upgrade in the 3.x.x series. It seems like the "OK" box is simply unresponsive and I agree that the only way out is to "cancel". Please help!
Does this happen in version 9 or newer? I can't reproduce this

Hasn't happened in months now. I think I fixed it by changing something in the program default Windows settings. No, it has not happened with the newer TB version 9. Thanks for following up.
