I have been using XM player for 6 months, since 2.0.6 and maybe 2.0.5 XM player doesn't work, it is waiting for some site to send something

I have the latest software

Mac:

    * Internet Connection: Broadband
    * Processor: PowerPC G3 processor or higher recommended
    * Memory: 128 megabytes (MB) or higher, 64 MB Video RAM
    * Operating System: OS X
    * Sound: Soundcard w/ speakers or headphones
    * Additional Software: Windows Media® Components for Quicktime, Flash 7
    * Browser Compatibility: Firefox 1.0 or later; cookies must be enabled

i have Flip4Mac WMV 2.3.5.4 for the media components
I have flash player 10.1.102.64 for flash 7
I have the cookies enabled for sites that I visit, which use to work, but I have enabled all cookies and it doesn't change the result

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1.launch XM player
2.select a station
3.
Actual Results:  
colored ball goes around
have to force quit Camino to stop

Expected Results:  
music to be played

This is probably another Flip4Mac bug. I'd suspect a dupe of bug 534812.

There's more information in that bug, including two different workarounds: you can either use an older version of Flip4Mac that avoids the issue, or you can modify a plist inside the Flip4Mac software.

Yes, anything open-ended streaming via the F4M plugin is going to hang forever.
