Details
User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Macintosh; U; Intel Mac OS X 10.5; en; rv:1.9.0.19) Gecko/2010101518 Camino/2.0.5 (like Firefox/3.0.19)
Build Identifier: Mozilla/5.0 (Macintosh; U; Intel Mac OS X 10.4.8, Camino 2.0.6
Updated from Camino 2.0.5 to 2.0.6. Whenever I have updated Camino previously, the next time I access a log-in web page with passwords to fill in that Camino has previously saved in Keychain, a dialog is presented stating "the Camino software on your computer has changed and wants to access your keychain. Do you want to allow this?" However, with 2.0.6, at the point I should be seeing this dialog and allowing the new Camino version to access the keychain, instead Camino hangs and has to be force-quit.
Reproducible: Always
Steps to Reproduce:
1.Update Camino from version 2.0.5 to version 2.0.6
2.Navigate to a log-in web page for which Camino has previously saved the password in keychain.
3.Instead of being presented with the dialog to allow the new Camino version to access keychain so it can fill in the saved password, Camino hangs and must be force-quit.
Actual Results:
Tried three different log-in pages for which Camino has previously saved the password in keychain and always previously filled in the password fine. (Tried my web-mail account log-in, my Amazon account log-in and a credit card log-in.) In each instance, instead of a (one-time for the newly-updated version) dialog requesting permission to allow the new Camino version access to the keychain, Camino just hangs and must be force-quit.
Expected Results:
I should have seen a dialog to allow the newly-updated Camino to access the keychain, then I would have granted permission and Camino should have proceeded to fill in the saved password on the log-in page.
Occurred while running Mac OS X 10.4.8 on an Intel iMac (white plastic, 2006). Had to boot a different OS that had not yet updated Camino to 2.0.6 (still at 2.0.5) in order to access web-mail to create Mozilla account for reporting this bug. Camino 2.0.5 functions as expected. The build identifier requested above has been changed from the information derived from the OS I am booted from for filing this report to the info relevant to the occurrence of the issue.

Can you get a sample of the hang and attach it here?
http://caminobrowser.org/documentation/bugzilla/#hang explains how.

After multiple attempts at multiple log-in pages with 100% reproducibility of the hang, following a restart of the computer the problem seems to be resolved (I thought that was the Windows solution to problems!). When attempting to get the requested sample, I got the expected dialog to give the changed Camino version permission to access my keychain, and now all seems to be well. The sites where I got the hang are now accessed fine. So to all the wonderful, hardworking Mozilla volunteers, sorry for what seems to be a false alarm or passing glitch. If anyone feels the issue warrants further investigation despite apparently having cleared itself through a reboot, let me know.

This was very likely the securityd process being wedged, rather than a Camino bug.
