614441 - opening a new tab through a link while the VKB is open will cause the control side panel to open and switch to the new tab

Description

1. close the hardware keyboard
2. go to http://people.mozilla.com/~nhirata/html_tp/formsninputv2.html
3. click in the first text field
4. click on Google link in new tab

Expected: a new tab will open in the background, foreground will not change (ie focus will still be on the same page with the VKB open)

Actual: a new tab will open and switch to www.google.com with the control side panel open.

Why are you expecting the new tab to open in the background? it opens in the foreground for fennec and firefox as well.

For the controls being open I thing bug 614091 will help, this patch help for all unwanted sidebars showing.
