User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 6.1; en-US; rv:1.9.2.12) Gecko/20101026 Firefox/3.6.12 Build Identifier: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 6.1; en-US; rv:1.9.2.12) Gecko/20101026 Firefox/3.6.12 When trying to view this RSS feed I receive various results. Sometimes it displays correctly with the browser style, sometimes it simply displays as plaintext. Other interesting aspects. The calling page is http://www.thebestincincinnati.com/test/pages/Blog . If you click the RSS feed button in the address bar it always displays correctly in a new window. Right clicking and opening the link in a new window also always works. However, clicking or opening in new tab is always unpredictable. I have changed the target attribute, removed special characters, basically tried everything I could find. Reproducible: Sometimes Steps to Reproduce: 1.Nav to http://www.thebestincincinnati.com/test/pages/Blog/rss.xml 2.Refresh over and over 3. Actual Results: Does not consistently display the browser styled RSS feed. Expected Results: Always display styled RSS feed.
On WinXP there's no Problem loading the Feed several Times with either Fx 3.6 or Trunk. Per http://validator.w3.org/feed/check.cgi?url=http%3A%2F %2Fwww.thebestincincinnati.com%2Ftest%2Fpages%2FBlog%2Frss.xml the Feed is okay. No idea besides maybe an external Influence like a Security App.

Computers it was initially having issues with were all Windows 7. Just tested on home PC with Vista and was able to reproduce however sometimes took 5+ refreshes.
I have the same problem with Firefox 4.0b13 on Linux 64 bits. Sometimes rss feeds show XML. If I click on "back" and reclick on the rss link, it works…
