Find in Page does not scroll down when hitting the previous button the first time
Mozilla/5.0 (Android; Linux armv71; rv2.0b8pre) Gecko/20101124 Firefox/4.0b8pre Fennec/4.0b3pre Mozilla/5.0 (Maemo; Linux armv71; rv:2.0b8pre) Gecko/20101124 Firefox/4.0b8pre Fennec/4.0b3pre 1. go to http://people.mozilla.com/~nhirata/html_tp/formsninput.html 2. select the site icon 3. select find in page 4. type in "a" 5. hit the up arrow for the find in page Expected: Pan to the bottom of the page where the "a" is highlighted Actual: no pan occurs, if you pan to the bottom the "a" is highlighted
I noticed a similar issue on HTC Desire, Build ID: Mozilla /5.0 (Android;Linux armv7l;rv:2.0b8pre) Gecko/20101128 Firefox/4.0b8pre Fennec /4.0b3pre Steps to reproduce: 1. Go to “about:” system page 2. Bring up the “Find In Page” toolbar by tapping on the page favicon and then “Find in page”. 3. Enter string “mozilla” in the search field. Expected result: As you enter the string, character by character, the page scrolls along to the location of found text which is highlighted. Actual result: No panning occurs. The first string "mozilla" is highlighted, but tapping the down arrow does not pan the page to the second string "mozilla". One has to dismiss the VKB to see the highlighted string. Note: TC in litmus: https://litmus.mozilla.org/show_test.cgi?id=12599
Check the isCollapsed attribute if the selection to avoid taking it into account when calculating the selection's position.
