Windows Vista added the ability to diagnose problems with wireless networking and fix issues found without even a reboot. I think that applications based on toolkit should have something similar.
In the simplest form, this would simply look for conflicting addons and report that. However, applications could add tests for common configuration problems. Ideally, it should then be able to fix some of those configuration problems, in a few cases, transparently.
Reproducible: Always
Actual Results:
Diagnosing a problem can be tedious and may need help from an expert
Expected Results:
It would make sense if the application could have all that built-in.
