"You've come to the right place! Start by searching our site below, or browse our list of popular support articles." There is no way to browse popular articles. You can only access to common questions in FF 3.5-3.6, and there is nothing related in FF 4.0. Welcome text in mobile home page should fit the home page.
Summary: welcome text in home page is not related to the home page content → Welcome text in home page is not related to the home page content
There are popular articles on the front page. We've just arranged them into topics. If you change the help with setting to Fx 4 you'll see different information for Fx 4. I don't understand what issue you are trying to point out.
This bug was written before the two start panels becames final, so some parts are out-of-date. Nevertheless if you select Fx4, ", or browse our list of popular support articles." sentence is unrelated because you can't do that: there is only Firefox Sync article on this page. If you use the mobile welcome text for both mobile and desktop and add a link in each Fx4 section to the right article (i.e. App Tabs, Panorama, Add-on bar), it will be OK.
What is the url of the page you are talking about?
That is the list of popular articles for Firefox 4. They do need to be linked though, which I'll do. Other than that I think this page is correct and how we designed it.
I agree with your answer. I change the bug title to reflect actions to be done.
