Build identifier: Mozilla/5.0 (X11; Linux x86_64; rv:2.0b8pre) Gecko/20101129 Firefox/4.0b8pre When clicking on the top level menu item (file, edit, view, history, bookmarks, tools, help) on Linux GTK builds, the text in the highlighted menu item remains black instead of changing to white. Second level menu items (say, new tab in the file menu) do change to white text when their entry is highlighted. I have checked every other gnome application that I use and none exhibit the behaviour of Firefox. They all have white text for the highlighed menu item, even if it is the top level menu item. I have tried this on multiple theme engines (industrial, clearlooks, nodoka) and this problem is exhibited on all. It is particularly problematic on the high contrast themes where the top level menu text is illegible. The attached screenshot shows the highlighted, but black text using the clearlooks theme.
