1. open a couple of tabs
2. close all tabs
Expected: no hang, fennec quits
Actual: occasionally fennec will hang

I am unsure if the last open tab is suppose to have a close tab at all. Desktop versions and Maemo does not have a close tab on the last tab open.

Correct, the last tab should never have a close button

Aye, do you have the quit fennec or nightly tester tools add-on installed? Both offer a close button on the last opened tab.

Uhm, the last tab being uncloseable is the worst misfeature imported from MSIE. On Firefox it can be easily disabled, on old Fennecs not so much. And even worse, in some versions it quits the browser instead of handily coming to a blank slate!
But, enough rants. On Maemo, this hang is reproductible every single time with Ctrl-W, and only sometimes with scroll left+click on close.
