Currently it is impossible to modify entries in the list of exception rules for cookies at all. There is an extension that adds such a feature: Extended Cookie Manager ( https://addons.mozilla.org/ru/firefox/addon/1243/ ). It lets user edit those entries by double-click and I think it should be built-in into Firefox.
+ the code of how to add such a feature can be probably taken from that extension.
Having buttons "previous" and "next" for the search field would be awesome too.
