Currently, searching for 'army of awesome' on the /home page finds zero results. Suggest writing a KB article describing the AoA, or inserting some linked search results so users can find the Army of Awesome.
Michael, do you suggest I just create an article that describes AoA and includes some tips + links? If so, do I need to go through the request process? I found this on the Creating articles page: "If you create an article without a request, the reviewers won't know about it, so it won't be made public." Thanks
The search box is meant for Firefox users. What you're describing is a contributor searching for ways to contribute using the search box, where he/she also happens to know the exact name of this type of contribution. This doesn't seem like a use case that warrants writing a separate article for it -- at least not for the sake of making it searchable through the search box. Having more information available directly on the https://support.mozilla.com/en-US/kb/superheroes-wanted *might* be wanted, though I'm not sure if we want to create an extra steps for those who click on that link to get started just so they can read more information. Michael, what do you think? Could we add a link from the AoA page itself to more info perhaps?
I agree with David that searching for AoA isn't a use case I think we need to address. As for the Superheros Wanted article, William if you have changes that you'd like to see there you can either just make them (it's a wiki!) or start a thread in it's forum (click the Discussion tab) if you want to talk about it first. We could also create an article all about using AoA and link it as more info off of Superheros Wanted and AoA but I don't think anyone is having problems using it.
Either way this is a KB article issue and shouldn't continue to be tracked in Bugzilla.
