616424 - Firefox Sync will not sync. I keep getting an error stating "unknown error" has occured

Firefox Sync stopped responding after syncing on Thursday, December 2, 2010, at 18:08. I don't get much information, but there is a message that the server is not responding. When I click on the Server Status button, I get a page that says things are running fine. The page includes some changes to the SQL server. That is about it.

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Click on the Firefox Sync icon in the Status Bar
2. Wait for the sync - eventually there is a notice of the error
3. Click on the Status button and go to the Firefox Sync status page showing things should be up and running
Actual Results:  
Same as above - notice of a sync error

Expected Results:  
Same as above - notice of a sync error

Firefox Sync should sync with the servers. It as worked flawlessly until December 2, 2010.

same here.. FF 4.0b7, Win7x64. I've attached a snipped from about:sync-log that shows "service unavailable" for <phx-sync062.services.mozilla.com>.

Same problem here too... with windows 7 64 bits. can't sync anything and it keep telling me there is an error while syncing and the it tells me to check de server status.

For the record, sync has been working well again for me for the last three weeks without glitches. So in my case this was down to an intermittent server problem.
