The new firefoxlive.mozilla.org website has a prominent Fx 4 download meter. There is no link so that someone could download the beta. There is no copy to explain that we haven't shipped Fx 4 yet. No 'beta' label.

I asked Zemoga to make this change. Will keep you posted.

In Chrome and IE it still says "Firefox 4" without the Beta. On Firefox 4 it's working fine. Not sure about Firefox 3.6
(In reply to comment #2) > Text change is up on stage > > http://panda.stage.mozilla.com/ Still not seeing it; wonder if it's cached, or something? I've tried in a new VM, to no avail.
Fwiw, I'm seeing it on stage now. Can we get this pushed live?
(In reply to comment #5) > Fwiw, I'm seeing it on stage now. Can we get this pushed live? What are you seeing, exactly? What's intended for the following browsers? * Minefield * Firefox 3.6.12 * Firefox 4 betas * IE / Opera / Safari / Chrome https://zemogatime.basecamphq.com/projects/5586201/posts/39664034/comments seems to have reversed earlier decisions, so I'm unclear.
The functionality should be this: * Fx4 users - refer a friend button + copy about telling their friends to help earn the cubs treats * other Fx users - download Fx4 beta button + copy about telling their friends to download the Fx4 beta (key word!) to earn the cubs treats * other browsers - download Fx button + copy about telling their friends to download Fx 3.6 to earn the cubs treats If this is too complicated, I can simplify. Let me know...
Not complicated, thanks -- helps to have it written down. https://bugzilla.mozilla.org/show_bug.cgi?id=616503#c3 seemed to imply that "without the beta" was a bug ("On Firefox 4 it's working fine" comment), which was confusing. Not sure what you tested in comment 5, but I'm still seeing the word "beta" in Opera, Safari, Chrome, and IE.
Zemoga: let me know when you've fixed the issue, and I'll retest; Vishal confirms that IE 8 is the same.

The final funtionality and copies were provided by John Slater: Firefox 4 users: headline - Earn Treats for the Cubs! body - Share this site with friends to help the cubs get their next treat. button - Tell a friend Other Firefox users: headline - Download for Treats body - Download the Firefox 4 beta to help the cubs get their next treat. button - Download Firefox [links to http://www.mozilla.com/en-US/firefox/beta/] Non Firefox users: headline - Download for Treats body - Download Firefox to help the cubs get their next treat. button - Download Firefox [links to http://www.mozilla.com/en-US/firefox] Please let us know how you see it
(In reply to comment #11) > Firefox 4 users: > headline - Earn Treats for the Cubs! > body - Share this site with friends to help the cubs get their next treat. > button - Tell a friend This copy isn't showing up on the live site. When I visit it in Fx4, I still see "Download for Treats".
Created attachment 495522 [details] Home page screenshot in Fx4, showing new copies. The changes are visible in https://panda.stage.mozilla.com/ is necessary to update http://firefoxlive.mozilla.org/ with latest content. Please check it and let us know any new.
New copy is approved. Mike Alexis will file the appropriate bugs to get this fix in staging live on firefoxlive.org
