When you are using a darker Persona (which make it more obvious) the bottom area of the tabs have a graphical glitch. See the screenshot. It only seems to happen on OS X.

Something similar is noticeable for background tabs, where a gray bar is overlaying the bottom part.

Not going to hold the release for a minor polish issue in a non-default usage scenario. blocking-.

I have this problem as well on my MacBook running OS X 10.6.6. It happens on Firefox 4.0 Beta 12 as well as Minefield.
In my experience, if I have any persona applied to Firefox on OS X, this graphical glitch will occur on the tabstrip. It's always reproduceable.

You can always see this bug, not only on darker personnas.

I think this is very important. It shows that UI work was not completed. But I know the challenge here, I think it has to do with the new curvy style so it looks like a real folder and because it also needs to be friendly with backgrounds for personas right? So all these semi-transparent layers are giving a hard time.
So, we need to think in a way that a
a) above tab can clip against the contents of another, based on 100% transparency, alpha max. For example element a { clip: not b }. This is a bit towards standards means to clip among elements dynamically.
Or
b) to simply change the style of the siblings, based on selection, but yet would leave us the the problems with all the non selected tabs.

This makes Personas on OS X unusable, it hurts eyes, if anything else than default skin is active.

This is still an issue on Mac OS X - verified on Firefox 18 beta 1:
Mozilla/5.0 (Macintosh; Intel Mac OS X 10.8; rv:18.0) Gecko/18.0 Firefox/18.0

We stopped calling the theme based "Personas" that name several years back, when they were also integrated into normal themes in Firefox.
Therefore bulk-closing Persona related bugs as they are no longer valid. If you are still having a potentially related issue in the latest version of Firefox, please take a look on our support site (https://support.mozilla.org) or file a new issue.
