User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 6.1; pl; rv:1.9.2.12) Gecko/20101026 Firefox/3.6.12
Build Identifier: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 6.1; pl; rv:1.9.2.12) Gecko/20101026 Firefox/3.6.12

It's OK for new tab to appear at the end of tabbar when "+" is clicked, but when I open context menu of a existing tab and click "open new tab", I would expect the behaviour to be quite diffrent, that is, to open new tab right next to the tab from which it was called. For people who use Firefox with +15 tabs opened at any time, scrolling back and forth just to move their tabs into desired order might be annoying, of someone cares about the order, anyway.

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Open context menu of any tab.
1. Click "open new tab".
Actual Results:
New tab is opened at the very end of tabbar.

Expected Results:
New tab should open right next to the tab from which it was called.

Go to about:config from the urlbar (location bar). Filter for:
insertRelatedAfterCurrent

What is the setting for browser.tabs.insertRelatedAfterCurrent ?
It should be true. If it isn't try changing it to true. Double clicking on it should toggle the preference.
This context menu item doesn't exist anymore (bug 579720).

browser.tabs.insertRelatedAfterCurrent is set to true, that's does not fix the problem, but well, that doesn't matter anyway. :)

This is not about "New Tab" but "Open in new Tab".

Cezary, please run Firefox in Safe Mode to test with all extensions disabled. If it is not fixed also test with Firefox 4.0 Beta 7 please.

Gotcha and sorry. So yes, it's invalid.
